Nothing New From Labour

David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, has condemned the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s pre Budget report, presented to the House of Commons yesterday (6 December) as “irrelevant to the needs and concerns of the people of Bexley”.  Mr Evennett said “Much of what he said was recycled and had already been announced previously. There was no mention of the NHS, nor of antisocial behaviour and crime. It was a half-hearted performance”. He added “With cutbacks in local health community services, press publicity alleging accident and emergency unit closures, concerns about antisocial behaviour and real environmental problems in our area, there was nothing in this statement to deal with the real issues – Labour has nothing to say”.
