Brampton Branch Conservatives held their Annual General Meeting on Thursday evening 11 January at the Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservative Association Offices in Bexleyheath. In the chair was Cllr Ron French who presented his Report on the branch activities for 2006. The highlight of the year was the successful Council elections in May and Cllr French thanked members for all their hard work.
Branch Treasurer Cllr John Wilkinson gave the branch financial report and answered members questions. David Evennett MP gave a speech about the national political scene and current local political issues.
Officers elected for 2007 were: Chairman Cllr Ron French; Deputy Chairman Cllr Teresa O’Neill; Treasurer Cllr John Wilkinson; Secretary: Andy French; Committee members : Julie Diss, Bernard Ackland and Peter Turner.
